Why Incidental Findings?

In medicine, an incidental finding is when a test or study incidentally reveals something that wasn’t sought after. This incidentaloma is often of no consequence (other than potentially leading one down a rabbit hole of unproductive follow-up), but every once in a whle, something important or useful might come up.
It’s my hope that useful nuggets of information might sometimes be documented here!
